Henry Ford gave both money and opportunity as
gifts. Starting with double the avg pay to workers.

Ford didn't believe in just giving things away to people; he believed in
giving to people and giving them opportunities to help themselves.
he gave his employees 5 dollars a week which was double the average
amount given by plants. he gave jobs to people most other bosses wouldn't.
Which included mentally and physically handicap people and ex convicts.
He also gave his employees opportunities to learn. For those who were
immigrants, he opened English schools at his plants; the first opened in
1914 at his highland plant.
