Calmare NJ finally rids Colorado teen of CRPS pain and symptoms

It’s simply not right for someone whose life is just beginning to be sidelined by chronic pain, particularly the debilitating symptoms brought on by a severe case of complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS or RSD).
Colorado high school student Krista arrived here at Calmare Therapy New Jersey two weeks ago in search of help for her treatment-resistant pain and growing list of CRPS symptoms after a running injury in 2013.
Like many fighting CRPS, she was forced to deal with an ever-growing list of symptoms
of the condition that included chronic pain, allodynia, swelling, sweats, pins and needles.

Nerve blocks
Lidocaine injections
Physical therapy

How scrambler therapy can help CRPS and RSD
Calmare, an FDA-cleared, pain-free, drug-free treatment that has no side effects, is performed through very low doses of electricity transmitted through 16 different algorithms (electrodes) to disrupt the chronic pain loop message from the brain.
Krista’s treatment experience
After 10 treatments over the course of the next two weeks (each daily treatment lasts about 35 minutes), Krista’s outcome was outstanding. “She is leaving us today after her last treatment with a pain level of 0/1 and her other symptoms have diminished exponentially–even after just two weeks,” Dr. Cooney recounts.
Krista has big plans for living a ‘normal life’ again
Krista told Dr. Cooney she couldn’t wait to get back home to “start living a normal life again.” One of her plans is to (slowly) resume running cross coun
