TYSONS CORNER, Va., May 26, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ScripsAmerica, Inc. (OTCBB:SCRC), a leading provider of a range of specialty prescription and over the counter pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, today announced the appointment of Anderson L. ("Andy" Triggs to the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Triggs is currently operations manager for a leading compounding pharmacy and is also a decorated Army veteran, having earned a Bronze Star for valor in Afghanistan.

Mr. Triggs has been involved in the compounding pharmacy industry for nearly a decade. Among his many accomplishments, he has been responsible for compliance with both state and federal compounding pharmacy statutory and regulatory requirements. In addition, he has managed organizations that have provided both sterile and non-sterile preparations to as many as 3,500 patients in 43 states. In addition, Andy has extensive experience communicating with physicians and pharmacies as well as extensive knowledge of various state licensing requirements. A career Army infantryman who most recently served as Infantry Squad Leader during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, Andy is an experienced military leader who is also well versed in administrative and training duties and responsibilities.
