It is just the trailer, and yes it is free to watch.
They must be unlocking them on Ultraflix after the episode is unlocked on the website. So after the website trailer gets the 5,000 view requirement, I would expect both the website version of Kosmos episode 1 and the UF 4k version of Kosmos episode 1 will be available to view.
I think what they did with forcing 5000 views before unlocking and giving people a "sharing" link is genious. That forces people to pass the word around about the movie and creates buzz.
I think it was a great call by NTEK to have Ultraflix sponsor the first season.
