Sorry you could, not attend the show. I do not know if you have ever been to the Performance Arts Center(PAC) in Westhampton Beach, but it is such a nice venue. Only holds about 300 people. It is so nice inside. Very upscale theatre. I had great seats. 2nd row. Right smack in front of the lead guitarist/slide guitarist. But their isn't a bad seat in the place.
Shelby Lynne is amazing, I have been a fan of her for over 20 years, and I think she keeps getting better. Her voice is powerful and soulful. She is classified as country, but she is greater than any label, she has both a blues, and jazz quality to her, as well as her musicians, play from jazz, blues, rock, pop, country. My girlfriend is fully sold now on her sound. It was a big sound as well, she tours with a drummer, bassist, keyboardist, rhythm guitar, her vocals, and her on another rhythm guitar, and the lead guitarist, for a total of 6 musicians.
She is playing on Croton on the Hudson, in 2 or 3 months, I may try to visit some friends in Westchester, and go to that show as well. Eh we shall see.
B-52's are playing next weekend, at (PAC) but the ticket price are outrageous....I do want to go tho. But i have to grab more shares of Baltia, instead tomorrow. Thinking about adding another $500.
