I believe that because of naked shorting there are hundreds of millions of shares owned by folks that in reality do not exist. Now the fun begins when our brokerage firms get HVELD shares based on the ownership of legit shares.
The big online firms are going to suddenly realize they have a major problem.
They owe a huge number of HVELD shares which has a small outstanding and is on the cutting edge of a new trend in gaming. Will they buy in those shorted shares or will they put markers in NTEK shareholders accounts? Now that they realize just how short they are of NTEK shares what will they do? They certainly won't be able to claim that they did not know. One thing we all can do is check to make sure our brokerage accounts are cash accounts and not margin accounts as this will make it more difficult on those who are shorting.
I have been told that the brokerage firms would prefer your account be designated as a margin account so they can lend out your shares without your knowledge or any compensation for doing so. Let them eat cake. Go NTEK!!!
