The automated manufacture of large Stokes shift Cadmium-free quantum dots
Having attended the last two SID Display Weeks , I recognize invites to speak go out very far in advance for these meetings. When I inquired and asked to speak on our new advances in quantum dot technology (announced in first quarter 2015) there was no room in the agenda and we were listed as a possible alternate. I have no complaints with the conference hosts or the process because we were late in asking. However, as this is billed as an annual investor's conference, we will be attending and are willing to meet companies and investors to discuss Quantum Material's ability to commercially produce quantity and quality of high-performance, Cadmium-free, large Stokes shift, environmentally resistant quantum dots. In conversations with display manufacturers at CES 2015, some or all of these qualities were highly desired as their specified characteristics. Unlike the large factories required by our competitors, we have an automated production system using a continuous flow process microreactor co-designed by QMC that fits in a standard wet lab yet has a 2000Kg/annum capability. How is it possible that a small company can achieve results that have evaded larger companies with over 10 years in the marketplace and $10s of millions in DOE grants and VC funding? Our green QD synthesis, exclusively licensed from WM Rice University produces a superior quantum dot and is adaptable to continuous flow process mass-production. QMC is an OTC stock company that announces its annual production capability publicly and has audited SEC quarterly financials available on our website. Videos of our microreactor in action are also available there. One of my favorite quotes from 2012, for its accuracy in describing Quantum Materials Corp objective, is by Wintergreen Research's Susan Eustis who said, "The commercialization of quantum dots using kilogram quantity mass production is a game-changer. High quality, high quantity and lowest price quantum dots increase product quality in every industry. The rate of change means speeded products cycles are evolving." See you at Display Week!
