Virtusa (VRTU) Profit Above Projections

The price of the stock of Virtusa Corp. (VRTU) touched a record high in the extended session Monday after the company delivered strong performance in its quarterly earnings report, with profit numbers above analysts' forecasts.
For its fourth quarter fiscal 2015, VRTU posted revenue of $126 million, a 13% increase year over year, and non-GAAP net income (excluding non-recurring items) of $15.1 million, or $0.51 per diluted share, compared to non-GAAP net income of $13.1 million, or $0.45 per diluted share in the same quarter the prior year, exceeding the Capital IQ Consensus Estimate of $0.40 earnings per share for the period.
For its first quarter fiscal 2016, VRTU expects to be in the range of $132.5 to $135.5 million and and non-GAAP diluted earnings per share to be in the range of $0.48 to $0.50.

Shares of Pall Corporation (PLL) soared more than 20% and reached an all-time high during extended-hours trading Monday following a report by The Wall Street Journal indicating that the company is in the late stages of an auction, with potential buyers Danaher Corp.
