Couple comments. It's mind boggling to me reading so much material in the past few days of almost glee by some in the fact that RIVT was halted. Yes, it is a Halt and not a suspension. There is clearly a difference. The fact is at this point that NOONE knows what will be the outcome or how long it will last. Maybe days, maybe 2 weeks and there is nothing that says it couldn't be back at some point as early as this week. Fact is I do not know nor does anyone else despite thinking they may.
What's different here unlike so many others is that nothing was put out by this Co/Shell via a PR last week. There was no bogus PR's, no lies or anything. The fact is we witnessed a product of what the internet can create with hype and immediate communication via postings, Twitteretc.... Rumors spread like wildfire and soon the stock is up 5000% and 12000%... This may very well be a case where there was no wrong doing whatsoever. We will find out.
Yes, there was a PR out (not by this Co) that didrelate a story that Tesla did in fact buy a company in MI and that had similarities to RIVT. Was anything done wrong? NO.
This Halt IMO is a product of FINRA seeing a stock that soared and halted it to at a minimum look into things to see more facts. I think what they will see if just what I described above and nothing more or less.
I do not see this Halt being all that long. Just my personal opinion. Some may disagree with me and that's fine. It's my opinion.
