Dussault Apparel Founder, Clothing Designer, and Marketer Jason Dussault is the founder of the high-end celebrity streetwear line Dussault Apparel. At Dussault Apparel, Jason designs high-end streetwear that is distinctively edgy, eminently wearable, and in-demand. Often referred to as "The Hoodie King," Jason is best known for his custom and limited edition hoodies that feature his own artwork and graphic designs, distinctive silhouettes,and surprisingly sumptuous linings. Handmade in East Vancouver, Jason's hoodies sell for between $600 and $2,500 each. Jason built his brand on the strength of his designs. His strategy hasbeen to present his apparel in unique ways including at off-beat fashion shows, in award-winning display booths at major apparel showcases, and through unique character showrooms in theUnited States that he designs and builds himself. Over time, Jason has expanded the original Dussault line to include additional lines such as Gene Simmons MoneyBag, Vanity, and DEUCE Custom Ink. As well, he gave his fans denim, T-shirts,ball caps and more. Highlights in Jason's career include designing the world's most expensive denim jeans which The United Way auctioned off for $250,000; creating designs for Indy Carsand graphics for Flow Snowboards; and merchandising logos and apparel for Criss Angel's Believe Cirque du Soleil show. Jason continues to create custom designs for clients including The Black Eyed Peas, Gene Simmons, Criss Angel, Pamela Anderson, Nickelback, Dee Snider, Kat Von D, Flo Rida, and Todd McFarlane. Jason also creates original artwork. His most recent commission is valued at $90,000. Jason's unique marketing methods have been documented in recent college level marketing text. In addition, Jason has begun lecturing on his marketing methods to colleges, universities and business groups. His marketing style and bold designs have garnered him significant media attention. He has made appearances on networks such as FOX; MTV; Citytv and CBC and has been interviewed on shows such as "EXTRA;" "Entertainment Tonight;" "eTalk;" "Urban Rush;" and "TMZ." He has also been featured in The Wall Street Journal and New York Times.
