This one is already catching on but this move may still be in it's infancy.
Last quarter BLGA made over half a million dollars in operating profit. Ther first q report should be filed next week on May 15th. The annual report showed that they had a 3 million dollar backlog that would be filled in the 1st q. So the 1st q results might be even better.
They provide protective gear for police and military. Their products appear to be catching on and there is language in their last report that might indicate that future orders could be larger and now that they are gaining customers the opportunity to sell some bigger ticket items is there.
I found the language in here interesting. Especially the "without limitation" part.
"Management believes that the improved operations for 2014 are a result of governments and local police budgets permitting them to purchase the necessary protective gear, including, without limitation, shields, helmets vests and plates to protect their police officers and military. Management is anticipating increased sales and gross profits for 2015 as we have a backlog or firm orders for the first quarter of approximately $3,000,000."
Annualizing the 4th q net profit would give them eps of .006 and with the type of operations they are involved in a p/e of 20 would seem possible. So this might be worth .12 but if orders pick up and they are able to cross sell bigger ticket items it could be worth much more than that.
With all that is going on involving the police I could see this catching fire similar to some of the body camera stocks.
