The NTEK board is becoming the exact opposite of I
Post# of 2009
f.e.:
Quote:There's regrettably nothing new on UF. The last addition, GI Joe, dates back to two weeks ago (23rd), as opposed to what that poster claims. So no, it's not a long awaited major content update what caused the SP to jump 70% this week, as that post might suggest.
Lots of new content on UltraFlix. Seems like every time I turn it on, they've added something new. NTEK is quietly building a 4K empire.

Seems it isn't is a great supporter of Ultraflix either, if she/he takes a peep only every month or so.
Referring to this article: http://www.rtings.com/info/where-to-find-4k-m...nd-content, she goes on:
Quote:But, ooops, she mysteriously not mentions a word of what was written in that article as a comment about UF:
Interesting how everything UltraFlix beats the other streaming services in all catagories, Mbps, price of rentals, total content, length of rentals, best 4K picture! Seriously, why wouldn't you use UF if you own a 4K device? It really is, hands down, the best 4K service in the entire world!
Quote:Not really flattering, so better not mention that, but focus on what positively differentiates UF from the rest.
This is a 4k movie rental service available on most smart TV platforms. It's mostly a collection of low-budget, poorly received movies, with a few popular studio titles. Rentals cost $1.99-3.99 for obscure budget content, $4.99 for a concert or a nature documentary, and as much as $9.99 for studio films. Rentals are valid for 48 hours. The options to purchase individual films, or to pay a subscription for access to a given genre or series, are reportedly in the works.
(Must be a mean basher that has written that article !)
And I don't see where she gets that UF has the best 4K picture?
But I guess most of the posters on the NTEK board have blind faith and don't even bother to check the info and read the article.
All I am saying is that all this pumping backfires sooner or later. Being enthousiastic is all OK, but adding false info is way over the top. Pitty for the serious investors that look for an honest forum, and the newbies that get all excited by reading stuff like this.
I know, I should post this on the pony board, but it woudn't survive the first five minutes. Censors on alert 24/7.
Of course I am happy with the run-up and very much hope that it will stay up, but most of us still have a long way to go to break even again. Hopefully we are on the road to recovery.
Sceptical, as usual, but it keeps me from getting disillusioned.
To resume that article, it is clear that 4K streaming content is still nowhere.
