DSUSA Moving to Aggressively Approach the Alaskan & Canadian Market:
Drone Services USA, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Company has begun discussions with its affiliate North American Survival Systems (NASS) for inclusion as a member of its subsidiary companies.
“My company has teamed with DSUSA to provide and promote our patented high intensity LED strobe lights (US Patent #’s 8,646,938 & 8,220,950) generally used for the marine and recreational industries as a handheld emergency distress signal, with DSUSA’s UAV and Drone products. As Director of NW US & Canadian Markets for DSUSA, this will allow me a greater reach for marketing not only our patented lights but the ProSearch XLF equipped with our technology to the NW USA markets, including Alaska, and Canada. The PROSearch XLF, equipped with our LED Strobes, has air drop capabilities and will also carry the EF-10A-1 hand held strobe to provide visual guidance to recovery assets locating a survivor’s position.” Says James C. North American Survival Systems created the EF-10A-1 LED Electronic Flare as an environmentally safe and effective alternative to hazardous pyrotechnics for all outdoor activities.
It took no time for the Company to realize that the LED strobe, with its light weight and low power consumption, would prove most beneficial to the UAV and Drone industry. Drones and UAV’s equipped with the EF-10A-1 strobes reduce the possibility of physical contact by being highly visible operating in close proximity to the public. In addition, the strobe will operate beyond the duration of flight making a downed or lost drone easier to locate. The importance to the UAV operator is that the strobe extends the “visual line of sight” FAA requirement.
North American Survival Systems believes their Patented LED strobe will soon be a FAA and Insurance Underwriter requirement on all UAV’s and Drones.
The EF-10A-1 strobe was introduced at the AUVSI Cascade conference last May and was well received.
