Not really, but if they carry Ultraflix, then they can claim their service has exclusive rights to the 4K/IMAX version which Ultraflix will have as soon as the Director gets off his ASS and approves it.
Quote:So, this "moran" clearly doesn't know Silver means upscaled HD.

Re: Gomez #13537
The director has approved it. It's labeled "Silver" now. They were waiting for the approval to do that.
Here it goes :
Quote:This one doesn't have a clue either what Silver means, and doesn't bother to check it out.

Re: FinAnalyst #13541
They have the "Imax "version of Intersteller now? that is HUGE if TRUE!!
Quote:That's indeed a new label, and that movie is the only one carrying it so far. It was Gold before, so scanned into 4K. Nothing changed.

The World's Fastest Indian is also labeled as "Remastered by 4K Studios" now.

That is not what IR said yesterday. Source?
Quote:That "now" is about three weeks. Great DD, worthy of the pony board.

Re: Gomez #13553
Well, I have UltraFlix and at first Interstellar wasn't labeled. They stated that they were awaiting director approval. Now it's labeled, so someone approved it.

Re: FinAnalyst #13555
Means nothing IMO. Price to rent go up?
I have a call out to IR to find out for sure.
Quote:Good, at least he admits that he doesn't know.

Re: Gomez #13557
Thanks. I'd like to know for sure.
Remarkable is the fact that nobody notices that the poster claiming that Interstellar is "approved" in 4K now, is totally wrong. (or that post was deleted of course). Very simple DD to verify, but nobody does that. No need to call IR.
To resume: Interstellar is not in (native) 4K, nor is GI Joe. We'll have to see if Interstellar will be available in 4K sometime. I wonder if they will increase rental price, since it's already in the most expensive category.
