Their first guess was that I was wrong and that all what had been announced was on UF. Which was not the case obviously.
Actually, I believe that if all what they have announced in the past was indeed on UF, it could have been 600 hrs. But it isn't.
In relation to that the last PR doesn't mention any quantity anymore "Offering the world's largest library of 4K content, UltraFlix is a streaming network that enables subscribers to choose from a library of pristine 4K Ultra HD VOD content in a broad range of categories plus hours of free content"
So I guess that proves that I was right all along.
The last e-mail from IR dates from last month, stating "we will check it out and come back to you". Still waiting for that answer.
But I need no more e-mail confirming what I already know.
I repeat, it's not the fact that they so far have only 200 hrs of content what bothered me, but the fact that they claimed to have three times that while they don't.
Content will come, I'm sure, but they should not mislead customers, nor investors over what they have of what is currently their main source of revenue.
Check out the last SHL from the CEO dated March 13th, where he states that more content was coming from Milennium etc the same month. That was six weeks ago. Nothing yet.
If they announce coming content, they should also be so transparent and PR why announced content is not coming. Or be more careful and not announce prematurely.
The fact that neither Interstellar nor GI Joe are true 4K, but merely upscaled makes me wonder too.
