New Jersey Grants Identity and Age Verification Solution Provider, IDology, Formal Approval in the State's Online Gaming Industry

ATLANTA, Ga., April 29, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- IDology, Inc., a leader in multi-layered identity verification and fraud prevention solutions for the customer-not-present environment, today announced they have been approved by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Entertainment (DGE) to deliver Know Your Customer (KYC) services to online gaming operators in the state that verify a player's identity and age while also providing a seamless and secure player onboarding experience. The IDology solution was developed to help operators meet Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and other compliance obligations and protect children from age-restricted commerce while also detecting and deterring fraud. Their on-demand solutions help minimize operating costs and maximize revenue while also providing the ability for higher levels of authentication in the case of high-risk payments or administrative transactions. "Receiving official approval from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Entertainment is an exciting achievement," said John Dancu, CEO of IDology. "IDology has sizable experience in gaming related markets and as the industry continues to evolve, operators will be able to utilize the strength of our robust identity and fraud solutions platform to not only meet regulatory requirements, but also provide the best player on-boarding experience for legitimate players." As more and more consumer information becomes compromised, through data breaches, identity theft and a variety of other fraud schemes, simply meeting KYC check requirements are no longer enough. Player authentication programs need to be surrounded by collaborative fraud prevention tools that help operators detect and deter identity, activity, location and device based fraud. The IDology platform allows online gaming operators to gain a deeper insight into an identity by combining the strength of robust identity solutions to better prevent identity theft and reduce risk. About IDology, Inc. IDology, Inc. provides real-time technology solutions that verify an individual's identity and age for anyone conducting business in a consumer-not-present environment to help drive revenue, decrease costs, prevent fraud and meet compliance regulations. Founded in 2003, IDology offers a solution-driven approach to identity verification and fraud prevention that ultimately helps increase customer acquisition and improve customer experience. IDology has developed an innovative and on-demand technology platform that allows customers to control the entire proofing process and provides the flexibility to make configuration changes that are deployed automatically – without having to rely on internal IT resources or IDology's customer service – so customers can stay ahead of the fraud landscape while maintaining compliance.
