In 2014, the cannabis industry expanded 74% to reach $2.7 billion, making it the fastest growing industry in the United States according to a report by ArcView Market Research. Last year the industry saw 19 states voting on new cannabis regulations varying from legal adult use to limited distribution of cannabidiol products. The first time adult use sales in Colorado and Washington represented $230 million in new sales alone.
