Lemminkäinen wins State paving contracts in Finla

LEMMINKÄINEN WINS STATE PAVING CONTRACTS IN FINLAND, SCANDINAVIA AND THE BALTIC COUNTRIES
Lemminkäinen has won State paving contracts worth approximately EUR 160 million in Finland, Scandinavia and the Baltic countries year-to-date.
In Finland, Lemminkäinen has won State paving contracts worth EUR 45 million, which represents approximately half of the paving work on offer. In Norway, Lemminkäinen has won State paving contracts worth EUR 72 million, which represents about one third of the paving work on offer. In Sweden, the value of Lemminkäinen’s State paving contracts is over EUR 20 million, which represents approximately 15 per cent of the paving work on offer.
Lemminkäinen’s share of State paving contracts won year-to-date has increased compared to last year in Finland, Norway and Sweden.
In Denmark, Lemminkäinen has won State paving contracts worth over EUR 12.5 million. The largest contract is the paving of the first two parts of the new highway going from Herning to Holstebro. The work will be carried out during 2015-2017.
In the Baltic countries the total value of Lemminkäinen’s State paving contracts is EUR 11 million. In Estonia the contracts include road construction and paving on the major highways. In Latvia, the work is carried out on the Road A2 from Riga to the Estonian border. In Lithuania, the projects are executed in Vilnus city and Klaipeda city area.
