Thanks for a couple intelligent thinking posts.
Society -focused almost totally on making a buck (business) has without even thinking of the consequences via design they arent even aware of eliminated the renaissance -thinkers philosophers historians intellectuals- because they have to eat like everybody else and thus are forced out of the arenas of their personal interest to swim in foreign waters-as I have been in posting on these boards-especially since i never had any - zero- interest in stocks-but what else are u going to do when u are waiting for people in ones many 'chosen' fields to grow up enough to even have somebody to have an intelligent discussion with.
I do think manipulation and fraud- based on what i've seen in the market and doing deep dd- are pervasive in the market,esp increasing in 2009 when political forces- 1 politician- mandated that govt agencies violate their constitutional mandates in order to destroy these penny co's and thus longs because he decided business was evil and had to be eliminated- talk about radical surgery.
And then those govt agencies and dtc greenlighted brokers and mm's and otc to prey upon these co's which is why brokers literally put thousands of pennies- and dtc hundreds- over the last 5 years on restriction without notice- a hybrid private public eminent domain -all because a powerful political figure decided business was evil.
Re a bashers false accusation that i embrace greed ,I do rail against insatiable greed which is all too common-but that and business per se are 2 separate concepts.
But i didnt want to focus on differences -without taking anything away from what kaching said, just wanted to thank you for the courage of posting thinking posts in what is often an intellectual wasteland (on stock boards in general-we do have an unusually intelligent bunch of longs on this board though).
Reminds me of a movie where a teacher said, 'wow, did we actually witness an intellectual debate in class.'
