If you are new to investing, I am a little surprised that you jumped into penny stocks. They can be scary, and rewarding. If you are not ready for the scare, then try something more conservative like an S&P500 ETF (UPRO for example).
With any stock, I think of it as if you are dating a girlfriend/boyfriend and want to determine if this is going to last for a long term relationship or not.
It takes time to "get to know" the stock. Just like dating. You uncover details about your stock, and some are good and some are bad. You weigh them and figure out whether you can accept the bad along with the good.
You also get to know the "moods" of your stock, and how much she will swing up or down with news or lack of news.
The longer you take to get to know the stock, the better you are going to know her and make the right choices about keeping her or not.
So if you are new, perhaps you should just invest a little at a time and give it a few days in between to see what happens. Read the posts here and do some research on your own. At least you will feel better about the choices you are making, and if you invest incrementally then you won't loose too much and you can cost-average your basis.
