WYOMISSING, PA --(Marketwired - April 27, 2015) - Customers Bank, a community-based, full-service business bank, today announced the addition of the Litsas Banking Group, a private client banking team that will be based in the forthcoming loan production/representative office in Melville, N.Y.
Irene Litsas will serve as senior vice president and banking group head, and will report directly to George Maroulis, executive vice president and head of Customers Bank's private and commercial banking group. Prior to joining Customers Bank, Litsas worked as vice president and relationship manager of JPMorgan Chase Bank.
Joining Litsas' group in Melville is Robert Mallimo, who will serve as vice president and client manager. Mallimo most recently served as vice president and operations manager of Capital One Bank in New York, N.Y.
Also joining the Litsas Banking Group is Michael Watts, who will serve as assistant vice president and associate client manager and he will be based in the bank's Rye Brook, N.Y. full-service branch office. Watts comes from Chase Private Clients, JPMorgan Chase, where he served as private banker and assistant vice president. He was named National Sales Achiever from 2008-2014. Both Mallimo and Watts will report to Litsas.
