SMART VENTURES, INC is pleased to announce its portfolio investment in Something Chocolate, Inc. SOMETHING CHOCOLATE® is an innovative gourmet boxed chocolate product for the medical cannabis market. Combining the finest Belgian chocolate, all-natural ingredients, amazing taste, fun music themes, and cannabis, Something Chocolate® is the newest, most exciting entry into the edible market. Featuring flavorful assortments along a variety of musical themes, genres, and eras, Something Chocolate® delivers the most delicious, engaging experience in the edibles category. We feature colorful and collectible packaging, iconic imagery, great music themes, and superior chocolate taste and cannabis experience that makes Something Chocolate® the coolest, most innovative entry in the edible market. We were happy to partner with the founder Mitchell Koulouris, who also runs a very successful gourmet chocolate Candy Company.
Something Chocolate is based in California where its production and distribution will begin in the MMJ edibles space. Cannabis Funding Group, LP and Smart Ventures, Inc. made a combined investment of $300,000 in the new venture in exchange for 9.9% equity ownership with 1 warrant per share and 2.5% royalty from net cash. We expect this to be a successful brand, building upon the success our partner has made in the conventional gourmet chocolate space.
