"Last but definitely not least, a newer streaming service, Ultraflix, may become your best friend when it comes to streaming pay-per-view 4k content." Wow, I love this quote right after talking about Netflix and Amazon. I estimate by next year there will be 10-20 million 4k uhd households in the US. Even if just 10% become "best friends" with Ultraflix and make only 1 rental a month we are talking at least 100 million plus in revenues next year. This is just in the US, and not including tablets, handhelds, live events, ad revs or any of the other income streams. I believe this is super conservative. I also believe Ultraflix will be getting exclusive new releases on the regular and once content deals are complete content will be uploaded weekly so the average subscriber is much more likely to make multiple rentals. I also confirmed with Nanotech they met with Christopher Nolan this week and he has approved the compression and delivery of the test clips for the 4k imax version of Interstellar. They anticipate an update shortly and plan on promoting the exclusivity to stream it in 4k.
