Oh don't get me wrong. There is lots of good things happening with NTEK, at least I hope there are. We have to assume that the things they are saying are happening really are on the radar. That's been sketchy in the past. And I know that not everyone over there is all fist pumping and drinking the fanatical Kool-Aid. I'm mostly, I suppose, disgruntled because I was that person two years ago, and these guys have done a whole heck of a lot to make me skeptical, that's all. And there's good information on the board too I suppose. However, there are a few posters there who just emulate the pumper mentality and post things that are the same sorts of things that people were posting two years ago, and it just looks like the same stuff from back then. Lots of good news coming in, lots of partnerships, lots of links of DD that make some vague reference to some upcoming partnership...and I just am beyond that. If the stock does great, great! I don't think it's going to have anything to do with people posting vague references in links that have little to nothing to do with DD.
Also I saw one post of someone asking a pretty legitimate question...one that I would ask too because I don't really understand how the manipulation is done nor what happens (unless it's blatantly obvious for even a neophyte like me to see), and all that happened was the moderator turned around, changed the person's quote to reverse the question, and didn't bother answering, just basically ridiculing. Yes, I know it's mostly that person, but sadly, that's going to be the tone of the board if the moderator is acting like that. Nothing to be done about it. Some personalities are not redeemable in any way, shape, or form.
I know I always sound like I am bitching about these guys, and it's mostly because they've let us down so many times in the past, and I was so on-board with them and backing them over and over and constantly getting disappointed by their decisions, or lack thereof. I'm jaded, yes, but I'm hopeful as well. They've made some good changes, and hopefully the partnerships and product gets some real follow through. I see things could turn around if they actually do follow through this time. I know all of us hope they will pull it together this time around.
