Wegener Corporation (OTCQB: WGNR) (PINKSHEETS: WGNR), a leading provider of equipment for television, audio and data distribution networks worldwide, today announced senior WEGENER executives and international partner, Comtelsat, will be in attendance at the 2012 NAB Show, in booth #SU2519, to provide expert guidance on media distribution network design and business development.
The senior WEGENER executives in attendance include Troy Woodbury, Ken Leffingwell and Gary Pelkey. They are committed to forging new partnerships and helping clients improve workflows for large networks and localization. They have over 75 years of television, radio, cable and digital signage network expertise between them.
Troy Woodbury is President and CEO of Wegener Corporation and WEGENER. He is a member of Wegener Corporation's Board of Directors and was Wegener Corporation's Treasurer and CFO from June 1988 to October 2009. Prior to joining Wegener Corporation in 1988, Mr. Woodbury served as Group Controller for Scientific-Atlanta, Inc. from March 1975 to June 1988.
Ken Leffingwell is Vice President of Worldwide Sales for WEGENER with over 25 years of experience in the satellite communications, broadcast television and CATV industries. Over the years, he has held various positions through previous employment including applications engineer, systems engineering, program manager and customer services manager.
Gary Pelkey, Vice President and System Architect, has worked at WEGENER for over 25 years in various network design and senior management capacities. Gary is a key driver of WEGENER engineering design and holds multiple patents concerning network control and satellite receiver design. His work is integral to WEGENER's success in designing a network control system, Compel®, capable of secure, reliable, targeted delivery of media content to tens of thousands of sites around the world.
