"I just drove by the company 20 minutes ago and the lights are on, there's a note on the door that says "we're in the back in shipping and receiving". I walked around back and there's an SUV there after 5:30, the back doors are open and there's a big guy inside with a woman and they were pouring water into a couple of clear tanks on a tall stand and putting together boxes with the Nanologix name on them. I introduced myself and found that the guy is Brett and the woman is Katlyn. I said I'm a shareholder in the company. Brett was very hospitable, saying that as soon as he poured the last of the distilled water into what he described as a transfer tank that he'd give me a tour. It was pretty cool. There's some money put into that place. He said they're working this weekend on some sort of petri plate job for a custom label start up. I asked what that meant and he said as long as the company sells product, they'll put any label on the package a customer wants. This is my first post and it's exciting to have stopped by and seen something happening.
Tedwardr, I asked, Brett said they were busy. I don't know what that signifies. There were stacks of the flat packages of petri plates that looked like they were going out. They weren't in what he showed me was the storage room next door, they were in the shipping area. Lots of bubble wrap rolls. There were a bunch of boxes put together and in the trash box they were tossing the caps for the water there were a lot of the discarded backings for peel and stick fragile and shipping labels, so they must be shipping. On a bunch of the boxes that were put together there is the name "The Third Party" printed like they were made that way with the rest of printing. They did have a bunch of much larger boxes there and I asked him what they're for and was told that some larger customers don't want 50 boxes when they can have 8 or 10 with the same amount of plates. Makes sense. The really cool part was seeing the lab and looking into the production room. Blue floor, stainless steel equipment and white walls and ceiling. There were a bunch of cylindrical packages that had petri plates that he said came from an Ohio company and that they also use Corning as a supplier for the plates. I remember he said the Corning ones allow them to make more plates in a batch because they're shorter. He didn't tell me or my wife any secrets but it was interesting.
I should've taken pictures. I've had an interest in the company before Brett and probably you ever heard of it. A friend of mine here in Brookfield named Carl used to be a VP at Nanologix when the company was in PA. I bought shares then and follow it."
