That is one thing I will give them a pass on. I used to do meetings like this all the time for my old company and hotel networks are notorious for being either utter crap, or completely over saturated, but almost never high quality. We used to test the day before and still show up hours prior to the start time the day of the meeting. If I recall correctly, they were crushing the bandwidth because they had only requested a certain amount and the VOIP traffic was killing the limited bandwidth that they had. It was a last minute decision to add the call-in, and I think that was where they made the wrong choice. You *never* want to throw a change at a hotel like that just prior to the meeting. It almost never works out right.
