Ben Turec
BOARD MEMBER
Ben Turec is the President and owner of Turec Advertising Associates, Inc., an agency he founded in 1976. For over three decades, Ben has helped businesses in the St. Louis area achieve their marketing and advertising targets. His agency’s services range from television to mobile Internet advertising. Ben’s notable clients include Autotire, Subway, Club Fitness, Washington University, Casino Queen and Carol House, among others.

Benjamin Brink
BOARD MEMBER
Ben Brink has over 33 years of experience in the management of high technology companies and in venture capital in the Silicon Valley, Southern California and the Midwest, with operations in Europe and Asia. He has led startup, early-stage, growth-stage and mid-sized companies, both private and public, in the software, defense electronics, medical electronics, environmental and biotechnology market spaces. Ben currently mentors IT startup companies with The IT Entrepreneur Network. Recruited into the Federal Government in 2006, he turned around a $400M program, bringing the new biometric US passport into production. Currently, he heads the McAlester Group, a corporate advisory firm, leads product and business development for PotentiaMed, an early stage data analytics company, and is the founding partner of Carthage Intellectual Capital Management. Ben is also an adjunct instructor of management and business courses at Webster University and Grantham University.

Dr. Kip Thomas
BOARD MEMBER
Dr. Kevin “Kip” Thomas is the Director of the Master of Science in Healthcare Emergency Management (HEM) Program at Boston University. Dr. Thomas’ experience includes over 20 years of military service, both in the field as a submariner and at the Pentagon as an aide to the Secretary of the Navy. Since 2002, he has taught diverse groups of students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Thomas was the founding Research Programs Director for the Critical Infrastructure Protection Program at George Mason University, a $20+ million research program for developing and analyzing methods of critical infrastructure protection and cyber security.

JJ Burke
BOARD MEMBER
JJ Burke is the Associate Director of the Master of Science in Healthcare Emergency Management (HEM) Program at Boston University, JJ teaches the following graduate courses: Disaster Life Cycle, Methods of and Practices of Incident Command, Exercise Design and Evaluation and Cultural Adaptation for Health Care Emergency Management. HEM is a completely remote program and can be attended from anywhere at any time using MEGA-MEETING technology. It is the only interactive remote graduate program in emergency management. In his career with fire safety, JJ is responsible for fire safety and prevention, including inspections of homes, healthcare facilities and schools; issuing permits for fuel storage and inspecting oil burners; and working with social organizations and groups to promote safety and prevention.

Pat Gallagher
BOARD MEMBER
Pat has been with NetJets, a Berkshire Hathaway company and the world’s largest and most successful private aviation firm, since 2010; he currently serves as Senior Vice President, Head of Sales. Prior to 2010, he was Executive Vice President, Head of Sales at Marquis Jet Partners. At NetJets and Marquis Jet, Pat has been responsible for managing well over $2B in annual revenue, developing and executing highly effective sales strategies, building teams and designing new products and services. As a member of Marquis Jet’s Executive Management Committee, he was instrumental in the sale of Marquis Jet to Warren Buffett's NetJets in November 2010 and merging those sales organizations. Before Marquis, from 2004 until 2008, Pat served as Vice President of Sales for a competing aviation firm, undertaking full responsibility for the fastest growing segments of the Flight Options brand. He developed and articulated the sales strategy and architecture for Flight Options’ JetPass Membership and Aircraft Sales and Management businesses, creating these innovative programs and building teams to increase sales volumes and enhance profit margins. His work experience prior to Flight Options included sales and management positions with Jet Aviation, United Airlines, The Tom Peters Company and Cintas Corporation. Pat has a BA from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He is a board member of Lurie Children’s Hospital Foundation in Chicago.

Dmitry Shifrin
BOARD MEMBER
Dmitry is a Shareholder at Polsinelli, PC. He practices complex commercial litigation before state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as federal multi-district litigation panels. Dmitry's practice centers on commercial litigation, class and derivative actions, and product liability. His experience includes demands, settlement, discovery, depositions, complex motion practice, dispositive motion and evidentiary hearings, and appeals and collections. His experience also includes witness preparation and prosecution of temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions and trials. His strategic planning includes analysis and presentation of liability exposure, negotiation strategies, budgets for alternative scenarios and cost-benefit analysis. He is skilled in broad-view analysis of clients’ long- and short-term goals, deterrence, impact of legal precedent and business advantages. Dmitry has extensive industry experience as counsel to numerous public and private businesses and financial institutions in a variety of disputes spanning a multitude of legal issues with particularly in-depth work in the pharmaceutical, health, aviation, automotive, truck leasing, financial and media industries.

Andrew Kline
BOARD MEMBER
With nearly 20 years of advocacy experience in the highest levels of the federal government and in the private sector, Andrew Kline currently teaches public policy at American University's graduate School of Public Affairs. Previously, Andrew served as Chief of Staff in the White House Office of Intellectual Property Enforcement, Senior Advisor to Vice President Biden, Senior Counsel to then-Senator Biden and as a federal prosecutor. In addition to a law degree, Andrew has a Master's in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government.
