ADVA ConnectGuard TM Optical has been designed primarily for data center interconnect applications that need to transport enormous amounts of data across geographically dispersed locations. It provides a transparent, wire-speed service for securing mission-critical data and incorporates a strictly separated encryption domain manager to ensure compliance with the most stringent regulatory demands. With a protocol-agnostic approach, ADVA ConnectGuard TM Optical can transport all storage area network protocols, including Ethernet, Fibre Channel and InfiniBand with line speeds of up to 100Gbit/s. As part of the ADVA FSP 3000 , it eliminates the need for stand-alone security equipment, simplifying network operations and reducing the overall cost of data protection.
