I agree, and I don't think that will happen unless they are FT not PT. Although I have seen situations where a FT CEO are still not given the reigns because the people putting them in the position are too controlling but maybe if it was someone they really knew could run the company the way they wanted they might let go. Let's see what Cruz does until the new CEO shows up.
