As far as advertising what a settlement means, I think most people know. It's just that a few disingenuous types are trying hard to paint the settlements as meaning "innocent." Even with Mr. Bordynuik admitting his intentions were to deceive investors, those same types try to paint that as Mr. Bordynuik just wanting to settle to end the suit for the benefit of shareholders--so they imply he lied to the OSC for the benefit of investors. In reality, anyone can see how Mr. Bordynuik cooked the books with the media credits to entice PIPE investors--and even my saying that will bring those types out saying that no investors depended on the part of the accounting which was falsified anyway.
I do think there's a call for someone to regularly post SEC litigation information as part of the news, similar to the regular posting of SEC filing information on Yahoo which is mixed in with the news. I'm sure most people wouldn't even have know about the fraud suit against PTOI until much later if I hadn't included a link in my article because right now there's no regular mechanism.
