SONY is basically saying that it'll continue to serve Video Unlimited 4K movies through Sony's external 4K media servers,(not sure if they're independent or shared )
but since UltraFLIX can meet a larger audience with it's streaming Technology It sees the need for them to adopt it Thus Sony's allotments of movies to UltraFlix 4K video library, which uses Nanotech's streaming network, is now available on its 2014 4K Ultra HDTV's and will soon be available on the 2015 models
