I agree EnergyAce.
I tried timing this in order to pick up more shares a few weeks ago and came out way behind in the long run. (I'd be a lot further ahead now if I had just stayed put).
So now I have been just steadily adding to my position every few days and that seems to be working out great.
The problem with trying to time the upswings and downswings is that your emotions get in the way (either excitement or fear) and you lose sense of logic. So it gets easy to make the wrong decisions on the spur of the moment.
The only true logical approach is to look at the big picture and long term. Short term is too much speculation and risk.
