Since joining BuzzFeed in 2011, Wiedlin helped the company scale its native monetization strategy, growing the company from less than a million in revenue to a profitable company with over $100 million in revenue and a valuation of $850 million. During his tenure, Wiedlin's mandate was to build a business without banners.
