What I love about NTEK is they have put together an amazing experienced team, most of whom have had experience in the same market where we are playing. This is the first thing I look for when long term investing.
It is also great that they are going for a mass market product which is needed to build a billion dollar company. The NP-1 was a crutch for 4k tv's that didn't have the processing capabilities to stream UF. They were able to roll that product out with amazing speed due to their experience. Granted there is no longer any need for the NP-1 because they focused on embedding UF in all major manufacturer's software! So they made the right move and removed focus from NP-1 and started focusing on increasing high quality 4k content. And they did this the whole time while profiting off of 4k conversions.
All is see is them making the right moves as of now. Sure there are some investor relations screw ups, but with what they are working with it is amazing how much they have accomplished. Just wait until we actually see real revs and this company has some money to splurge. They have demonstrated the drive to improve shareholder value in the past, and I expect similar buybacks in the future (just as mentioned in the SHL). By far of all stocks on the OTC PINKS this one stands out the most. I never expected to be able to buy more at these levels, very excited for the future!!
