You need to understand a little about football and how it works. I have half dozen friends who are either still playing or retired from the NFL. There are so many other professional football players who never acquired any stats. Each team carries a practice squad of 7-12 players that are indeed professional players even though they may never see the field. Also there have been countless players who've been on rosters as 3rd stringers who've never seen the field in their careers so would have no stats to show. Why would anyone put former pro player if it was a lie? It doesn't help you either way cause no one cares any ways if you weren't a star in the league it wouldn't help in business.
