China has surely been a lot smarter than the fool

producers thought chinese mines would shut down if they flooded the market and lowered the price but the vertically integrated Chinese iron mines owned by chinese steel producers have been largely kept going,as you say are either subsidized by chinese steel co's or grandfather China, even though it would now be cheaper for china to import such production.
They are fighting to take their proper place on the world stage, since shortly after chairman Mao- "capitalism is evil -back to the dark ages" died-I miss his speeches- with Russia and China furiously working to replace the USA dollar world reserve currency w something else, having been aided in their modernization by cyberspace etc stealing trillions of usa built research and development tech
so i agree w your 1st paragraph
China already operates most of Mexico's major ports which is one of the reasons why there was opposition to
the huge planned port S of Erendira, because China was the only bidder i think and there was concern re Chinese monopoly of Mex ports in case of war, which is coming eventually because the human race hasnt grown up yet and yet they have all these toys of mass destruction
IF the big producers wake up- perhaps due to a stockholder revolt over their foolish flooding of the market and learn to share instead of each trying to capture 100% of the market and learn a lesson from OPEC before some say Saudi Arabia began flooding the market for various reasons, at least lump ore may return to 90 -wasnt far from that in Feb
Bao and our friend Mr Zhao invested a lot of time in CWRN and under Bob were ready to buy more but ore was held hostage by port until CWRN won lawsuit against the port and Ilia shipped May 2013
Ore was only 10-14 /ton til 2002,didnt reach 50/ton til ca 2006? and price didnt drop permanently below 125 until Feb 2014
so I'm wondering why Brad didnt ship again before then.
May 2013 ore was ca 124/ton- some contracts hedge price by averaging price at point of departure and point of arrival in China- at which time price had dropped further, plus Bao had to wait a long time for its ore until CWRN won that port lawsuit
so considering all these factors Ilia price was probably just over 100/ton for 68069 tons-lets say roughly 7 million dollars.
Bobs CWRN had trouble consistently rolling ships not just because of port games but in their complaint against Geo alleged Geo commingled or took the money necessary to keep operations/ ships running smoothly- the bottom line
in mysteries there's been a saying ''the butler did it''
in business the saying often is ''the money men did it''-as allegedly w Bobs CWRN
so I'm wondering if the money men did it again -
why not ship again w the ca 7 million from the Ilia?
Bao didnt steal the money- DLC is designed to prevent that and Bao is so big they dont need to play those games
So if no ships because no money then either Ilia money went to pay off not just maybe 1 million debt Brad inherited but Brads/Navials debts -which would be a criminal infraction against CWRN -
OR the money men stole the funds.
I used to think Brad was rich because why else would he be paying ca 2 million/year concession fees for up to 1.2 million Navial acres without producing-an empire he couldnt possibly mine in his lifetime but have found no indication whatsoever that he has that kind of money - I think,as i often did, that the slick Navial web site was designed to either sell such empire or help attract JV partners
so that would indicate brad had a money man backer himself-par for the course in the mining game- who perhaps paid ca 10 million Navial concession fees -I've done the math
Now what if Brad either had a contract to pay his backer back w ilia revenue -which as i said would be criminal against CWRN/us, unless there was a good faith arms length transaction
or what if said backer was the bank for the ilia DLC rather than using another co or bank-and what if said backer stole the ilia revenue as compensation for the millions said hypothetical backer paid for Navial -thus curbing further ships
if so, is Brad attempting to recover such revenue as his obligations to CWRN would require him to do?
the only other logical explanation i see for no further ships til feb 2014 price drop is if somebody else stole ilia revenue
but occasional snippets to some indicate that isnt the case
now its very possible to miss ships due to spotty reporting unless u pay ship sites a bribe price of 20k /yr for full ship info
but i think any full ship would've been PR'd by Brad
its very possible to ship a partial ship - 1 or more holds of 5-7 holds -(w rest of holds filled by other sellers/products)
e.g of fert to Oregon as Bob was going to do
and judging from a very difficult comparison of pics i think that may have done=plus probably some ore internally to Mexico
I've been forever puzzled by snippets to Luckymata (who published his email) etc by Brad re waiting for the CA case to be finished -I have no idea why-but for some reason unknown Brad is waiting for CA case conclusion
but look up buddy - spring is here - judgment is coming to the baddies soon.
Like you i sometimes sarcastically wonder whether it will be before or after my death - but due to spring we can soon get off our winter diets of cattail roots, tubers, dried grasses, bark, sap, rose fruits, voles, pocket gophers and non nourishing rabbits.
Or if we die first at least we are out of here- and if we passed the tests this life was designed to give us then we win anyway by getting out of the insane maelstrom man has been furiously cooking.
I hope they do find marketable amounts of copper- at a 5 year low- or silver or gold-we know they have some copper and gold- not enough discovered to mine-and Navial had some silver as well.
And you are right- non compassionate capitalism is a very unforgiving imperfect bird brain eating birdbrain.
