Considering how much unfair flak hemp has gotten over the decades, it's not too surprising. That whole "War on Drugs" thing that is practically a zealot's crusade. Pot is looked at by some as the Devil, and laws for over half a century have treated hemp and pot as the same thing. Then you have folks who have never gotten over their hatred of anything that is connected to hippies. I bet these people start seething whenever they see a brand logo containing that classic leaf shape.
