Krid, what do we call someone who bashes their own investment? A basher? So should I ignore Tonto4?
For a starters who is we ?
Second, I am probably not the one to ask, as I myself have been classified as bashing my own investment.
But I will give you my view anyway.
You are entitled to call a basher who you want, but that doesn't mean that we all have to do the same.
But if I read two definitions of a basher, f.e.:
Quote:
A stock basher spreads rumors about a security to push the trading price down. Bashers may act on their own account or represent third parties, and may engage in a coordinated attack with a group of people to make their claims seem more legitimate.
or
Quote:
An individual, either acting alone or on behalf of someone else, who attempts to devalue a stock by spreading false or exaggerated claims against a public company. After the stock's price has dropped, the basher, or the basher's employer, will then purchase the stock at a lower price than what he or she believes it is intrinsically worth.
then I don't think that tonto qualifies as a stock basher.
Maybe your definition is different, or maybe you do have examples where he does what the bashers, the ones on Ihub I had in mind, do. You know the kind of shittownmikey, B402 and the likes.
It is true that he does not mince his words, and often reacts overly sarcastic, but considering the mess he apparently is in, I can't blame him.
As far as I am concerned, it is correct that he generally points to the negative aspects of NTEK behavior (as do more here), but I don't recall seeing a post where he has spread intentionally false rumors.
Is the fact to point to discrepancies in what NTEK proclaims and actually accomplishes, albeit in his particular way, bashing ?
Do we all have to close our eyes fearing that the PPS won't go up because something better not be told ? Do we, as shareholders have to act like the three monkeys, don't see, don't hear, don't speak, except when it's positive ?
Or instead speak up, and try to open the eyes of NTEK so they realize that they can't get away unnoticed with what BS they sometimes tell us, and play around with our money ?
Do you have more trust in a company that says things the way they are, as opposed to promising things they don't deliver, for whatever reason ?
Isn't investing based on believe and trust ?
I could name about a hundred titles that were supposed to be on UF already last year, but didn't make it, without any explanation whatsoever. (I suspect lack of funds though).
Do you have trust in a company that proclaims to have over 900 hrs of content, is according to their statement adding content every week (10 titles, even 50 titles), while in reality they don't even have 200 hrs, even now, and add content every now and then ?
Considering the fact that content is their only major revenue generator currently ?
And although IR told me that I was wrong in my count, they strangely enough changed their PR's lately stating they have “hundreds of hours” of content. I suspect they even weren't aware that their claimed numbers were that off.
Anyway, meows board is a real forum, not one where other ideas than the expected ones are classified as hostile and get deleted.
What you think of someones postings, or the person himself, is up to you. Please do ignore him if you feel to do so. You can even post it here. It's a free country, at least on Meow's board.
Bashing his own investment ? Don't think so.
Criticizing NTEK management for not delivering as promised, not being transparent (or at least a bit), and as a consequence criticizing his own investment ? Sure he does, so am I.
