GOLDF ——— Trading Halt ?
I bought this company eight long years ago. ...... As of today I will be making money on it.
I would like to say that I was prescient enough to foresee its bright future. ...... Well, maybe I was when I bought it originally. ...... I bought it on an indirect recommendation from Doug Noland of Prudent Bear. ...... He owned it at the time I bought it.
From memory, I believe he may have sold all of it after some years of non-performance.
My peculiar strength is to hold on the a worthless stock years after the market has abandoned it. ...... My theory being , " Why should I sell it for nothing? "
The trading halt is a bit of a stunner. ...... Just because .... the price bumped a bit, .... and the .... volume jumped a lot, .... I am not sure that trading should have been halted.
Gonna make some real money -- at last -- I think .
Sometimes stubborn persistence can be rewarded .
