The companies to which I was referring are the big petri dish suppliers rather than the users. "Planned obsolescence" is a critical element of their business model because it guarantees continuing turnover volume. Intelligent user companies are adopting the NanoLogix technology but there is a real pushback from traditional supplier companies that don't want their profit stream to be affected. You assume enlightened behavior from the business system when in fact in many instances resistance to change, and kickbacks are much more common.
