Imagine having to make a choice between one of two heart surgeons to perform your quadruple bypass.
Surgeon #1 has never been in trouble, and has long track record over many years of having excellent patient outcomes. He charges quite a bit because everyone wants his services.
Surgeon #2 has been sued several times for medical malpractice, and even suspended from practicing for a short while, as part of settlements that never went to court. He's very inexpensive, just a fraction of the cost of the other surgeon, because he's trying to convince new patients to buy his services.
So then you go on the PTOI board and ask which surgeon should you have do your quadruple bypass - Surgeon #1 or Surgeon #2?
"Well, Surgeon #2 of course!!! His malpractice was ALLEGED. His lawsuits SETTLED. No admission of guilt.
ANCIENT HISTORY. It's all about the FUTURE. Just because he was a crappy surgeon his entire career up until yesterday doesn't mean he won't be a superstar surgeon tomorrow!
The PAST is irrelevant. Much wiser to save your money by going to the cheapie!"
In the meantime, real stocks that trade on the real stock market hit ALL TIME RECORD HIGHS, while PTOI is swirling around the toilet bowl at 8 cents, waiting for the next kerplop.
