if the # infected w ebola as of Mar 6 was over 24000? or was that the max number back in Oct ?etc -poorly written article- what was the max # infected? -
and if 5% are still asymptomatic after 21 days, having a quarantine of only 21 days seems dangerously sloppy for such a large infected population,almost ensuring that sick people will slip though after 21 days,and even 2% sick will slip thru after 42 days if quarantine has been their only diagnostic, as implied by news articles-so what am i missing?? Other than being off my horse for volunteering for a board outside my comfort zone where the posters cause more trouble than all the 9 other boards i mod put together.
I know they had teams going door to door for educational purposes in liberia etc but were they taking blood or other samples? also.
You science guys may have to explain this to the laymen here.
