Maybe Bordynuik was trying to be charitable, by selling his cheapies to the down-cost averagers. And it was purely an accident that he made +$1M that he otherwise would have never made, and that he never anticipated the down-cost averages losing 94% of the value on his "cheapies".
I was pretty sure though, using the information provided in the court transcripts, that Bordynuik had to have been dumping during the time when JBII was trading above $1.40. I found it impossible to pinpoint an exact date when he sold, but I think it was possible to infer a several month window.
