Just checked the CFO's Facebook and see he signed this. People here claiming ICBT is printing shares and a scam once claimed he was a figure of Garth's imagination. How many of y'all remember that? Anyways the fact that he's signing petitions should prove beyond a doubt that he's a real person and in Quebec yes? Maybe PM him yourself if you aren't getting your ICBT questions answered?

Translation of the link for all of you:

Electricity rates are increasing all the time, much faster than the cost of living. We all feel the effects. Hydro-Québec nevertheless made ??big profit: $ 1.2 billion for six years!
These rates, increasing, become regressive tax. Is it not immoral to overtax an essential service?
Mostly these are households with low and modest incomes who feel the worst repercussions, due to the greater proportion of their budget they provide heating and because they occupy less well-insulated homes. It is therefore the less rich who are most severely affected by the increases.
We should be proud: we thought and produced a technology that has something to envy in many countries. We worked hard, we paid top dollar to hit harnessed rivers, dreams and big budgets. All because we thought it was worth it, we could then reap the benefits collectively.
I see poverty around me. If I have trouble paying all when I'm not in a very precarious situation, how others do they do? I do not understand why we have built this collective tool so valuable if not to put it in service to the community by offering us to ourselves affordable electricity rates?
I am a recently separated mother. Although I have a very responsible consumer behavior, I still have to have a large enough housing to accommodate my children. I do not want to jeopardize their health or mine. For that, you have to heat, cook, clean ... .without about the comfort that is valuable too. I can not go below a certain temperature. There's a minimum, would still not as pipes burst! Therefore I request a freeze on residential rates for Hydro-Québec.
If we want more revenue for the government, we have given ourselves a tax system that is more progressive. If the government wants to increase state revenues, it increases taxes. But if he is not willing to do, it does not attempt to disguise ourselves a tax increase by increasing our Hydro bill!
Today, we must be able to reap what you sow. Ask a freeze residential rates for Hydro-Québec.
