Five Oaks Investment Corp. (NYSE: OAKS) ("Five Oaks" or "the Company" today announced its financial results for the quarter and the year ended December 31, 2014. For the fourth quarter, the Company reported a GAAP net loss of $4.5 million, or $(0.31) per basic and diluted share, and core earnings* of $4.8 million, or $0.32 per basic and diluted share. For the year, the Company reported GAAP net income of $0.4 million, or $0.03 per basic and diluted share, and core earnings* of $16.0 million, or $1.30 per diluted weighted average common share. The Company also reported a net book value of $11.93 per share on a basic and diluted basis at December 31, 2014.
