My guess is people have watched their investment continually melt away, just look at the 6 month chart; 1 year even. If you bought back in October, on paper you're down roughly 70%, that's pretty bad but again it's only a paper loss. I'm sure many have averaged down but NTEK has taken a shallacking for over a year now and folks are fed up. To add insult to injury, IR has dropped the ball a few times at the worst possible time. I attribute it to growing pains but the vultures out there are taking full advantage of any misstep and lying when there aren't any. SO, it's a multifaceted problem we, as investors, must deal with and NTEK as a company is facing.
That being said, you'll note that in the last quarterly report, NTEK announced that they are no longer in need of outside funding to remain solvent. Yes, they raised the AS but their earning exceed their operational expenses and if you ask me, an OTC company in that position is rare. The use of shares to secure contracts and content would in my opinion be considered a wise move. They can always be repurchased and retired. It sure as hell beats taking on toxic debt to fund projects, etc.
Projections vary but I think the latest we've heard from NTEK was an 8 million dollar gross profit 'addition' for fiscal 2015. Right now NTEK's revenues are already at or nearing the companies total market cap AND they are profitable! Add an additional 8 million in profit using their own number and it's pretty easy, for me at least, to see NTEK is one heck of a bargain right now.
Bottom line, they're is no concern of bankruptcy and they continue to make giant strides forward in a mega-massive emerging growth market. They're going to be missteps along the way but just damn, remember the Samsung CEO press conference at the opening of CES 2015 with the UF logo over his head next to those other four or five multi-billion dollar companies? I didn't see any other 17 million dollar companies up there, not a one. I don't care what these idiots on that other board say, I'm putting my money and trust in NTEK!!! Sony, Samsung, Paramount........and the list goes on already have. That's good enough for me. The stock will take care of itself.
