"Does you math tell you the cost of obtaining plas

I'm not sure you saw the press release that the company is selling processors now."
My math does, actually. In fact I didn't include any costs at all other than the scrap plastic at market value. No transportation, no labor, no overhead...and the math still shows the value of scrap plastic precludes any possibility of a profit. A customer buying the processor would also have to follow the laws of economics.
As far as the cost of plastic from a customer's own production, because this hypothetical unknown company pays to haul away sorted HDPE, LDPE and PP plastics rather than selling them to recyclers, maybe this hypothetical company is also paying to dispose of sorted glass, steel and even aluminum because they are unaware there's a recycling market.
Actual real company RockTenn which was heralded as having virtually unlimited plastic monofills couldn't be convinced to buy a processor and PTOI couldn't be convinced to ship one of their processors to the RockTenn site to process all that free plastic per the ten year agreement PTOI signed with RockTenn. Apparently PTOI doesn't even think their own processors can be profitable.
Let me shift and point out that you can throw scenarios at skeptics all day and you won't believe any of the answers anyway. Might I propose that you ask PTOI directly if they've found any situation where the processor CAN add value?? Where what comes out of the processor is worth more than what went in?? Why should PTOI be excluded from this dialog even though they have the answers??
