See Clarks 11-12 -14 sticky on the other board -he has done the yeoman work on keeping us up to date
9-5-12 CWRN CA complaint against Geo
12-1-12 entry of default against Geo -not same as default judgement
ca 6-7-13? Geo appeared after a long CA case absence to motion to reverse CWRN's motions at that time
summer 2014 appeared headed to default judgment (7-21-14?) against Geo and the infamous baja 30 co-defendants on 13 counts when Geo finally apparently got CA counsel acceptable to the CA court (see 8-14-14)
which counsel asked the CA court to set aside the default-so they've been wrangling re that i guess -we cant see the actual docs- 1 guy did here did have access (worked there in San Diego court?) but he hasnt posted for long time- dont know whats taking so long- wouldnt expect CA court to give Geos counsel more than ca 2 months to prepare and its been 5 months since we've heard anything
Geo has had plenty of time to judgment proof assets since their so far generally unprofitable mines /properties are in Mexico so dont expect a big payoff to Bob or to CWRN holders- though judge could find Geo improperly took advantage of holders by selling CWRN stock prematurely in violation of agreement w Bobs CWRN -
for which CWRN's complaint claims Geo was enriched by up to 5.3 million- which CWRN's complaint says far exceeded Geos JV contribution- which i believe was borne out by TX case though TX case only dealt w Geo's complaint and not w CWRN's issues
So i dont know what impact on CWRN would be -and to my knowledge Bob has not assigned any of the CA case potential winnings to Brad --not likely going to be able to collect much even if get a judgment of 100 plus million (up to 5 million punitive damages on each of many of the 13 counts against each defendant)-
Geos complaints/issues were disposed of in the TX case- but should close the door on last reason Brad has to withhold info from stockholders
there isnt much logic in the legal system (to be polite) anymore than there is much logic to the stock market anymore so its hard to say when CA case will be finished
