"it should be an awesome next few weeks plus as this puppy breaks wind."
Funny way to put it...lol.
We have a beautiful Standard Poodle, cream color, 75 Lbs, will be 13 June 1.
Bonaparte is a real lover, constantly giving affection and demanding it back. When we watch TV sitting in our Lazy Boys, he'll plop his head in your lap, make sounds saying, "hey, let me up there" so we help him climb up. After a few minutes the our legs begin to hurt, I mean he's not some 5 pounder!
I'll help him off of me, then he'll go to Mommy, start the begging again (LOL) and get into her lap. The boy is spoiled beyond belief and we love it!
Now on the breaking wind part, he sleeps with us (in between us), with his head at our feet. Once or twice a week, as we are sound asleep, we are awakened by his silent but deadly, invisible stinky cloud of air....OMG Bonaparte what the hell...sheesh puppy!
Fortunately we have a ceiling fan on, windows open (nice and warm in San Diego) and it dissipates quickly...gluttons for punishment we are, because we love the heck out of him, also know he's getting up there in years, his sleeping privileges remain in tack.
OT, but thought I'd share...LOL!!!
April/May should be interesting around here...
